Future Enforcer

After much consideration I have come to a realization that perhaps joining the military wasn't exactly something that was going to be happening for me, considering the fact that I do have asthma and enlisting in the military would put my health at risk. For those of you who do not know, for a while I was considering the Navy and after much consideration my choice soon changed to the Air National Guard. These days it had seemed as if taking a trip out to March Air Reserve Base in Riverside would have been a total waste of time. It was this passed weekend on the way to Palm Springs when my parents had asked me if I wanted to enroll in LVN school. I realized long ago that nursing was just something I did not want to do. Within that conversation with my parents, the idea of enrolling in the police academy at Rio Hondo had come up and my parents were fully supportive. I have done minimal amount of research and realized that there are pros and cons to being either a city police or a sheriff. I will actually be applying to both to see how each would work out. The thing about the police academy is that I would have to spend about $3,400 on tuition and gear. For the sheriffs academy, I wouldn't have to pay, however, upon completion of the academy I would have to spend some time working in corrections. I guess right now I will just apply for both and see whichever program becomes available first. I just hope that the things in my past will not be a problem on either the oral exam and polygraph test. Wish me luck!!..

Female Reign

From the bay area down to San Diego, male Dj's have been known to conquer the world of the party scene. However, for one Dj it has become merely the beginning of the playground. This top Dj not only is one of the best in the industry, she also happens to be female. Dj Rated Ar, better known to her friends as Arlene, has become a phenomenon among California's top Dj's. She has been able to make this sport of mixing music an art form and has gained much respect in her preferred field. Dj Rated Ar, along with her boyfriend Dj Element have become some of the most powerful Dj's coming out of San Diego. Arlene has come a long way from spinning at small local venues to some of the most prestige clubs in LA.

Local News about Local Rapper

October 11th proved to be a victorious day for the group known as The Czorman Project. Local rapper Christopher Daamanos, better known as Dmanos The local Rapper, stole the stage with his right hand man Dj Czorhands as they performed at the Terrace Bar in Pasadena. These two have surely proven themselves as celebrities within the filipino community. As in my previous blog about this group, they seem to have nothing but clear skies ahead of them within the hip hop community. The Czorman Project, along with the Wax Munkiez Crew and Acrylick clothing line have surely started to turn heads.

Bright Future

Walking along a College campus there are many students who still don't know what exactly to major in. They will usually spend their first 2 years without knowing what to do. For Randy Carrasco, this is a totally different story. Randy has previously graduated from Devry with his Bachelors in Science and Business as the 2006 Kum Laude. He is now currently enlisted in the United States Air Force and is beginning another college life as he pursues a degree in Biomedical Engineering. For as long as I have known Randy, he has always been the guy with his head on straight. Most college grads are usually content with just going back to school for their Masters in their preferred field. Randy has always been able to take new challenges and turning them into something that becomes more like a walk in the park. Even with all his challenges and adventures he is still able to make time for his friends. Randy, we congratulate you on your new adventure as a returning student. We wish you the best of luck. Just remember, there are only 3 sides to a triangle.

BUG Autoworks pt 1: Night Rider

The loud deep roar of an exhaust system along with the quick sound of turbo is sure to turn heads. When most people hear this, the first thing that comes to mind is Fast and the Furious. However, when it comes to this sleek black 93 Lexus SC300, Fast and the Furious becomes a distant memory. This Lexus is the creative and powerful styling of Jeriel Guerrero of Montebello. This God of machines carries a 2.5 liter twin turbo motor with a back end carrying a 3 inch HKS downpipe with a 3 inch custom muffler. With the included workings of a 3 inch custom hardpipe and 4 inch front mount intercooler in combination with its HKS EVC 5 boost controller at 16 psi, this machine Dyno's in at an easy 309 horse power to the wheels. This car is surely the bully of the block. However, not only is this car nice to listen to, it also works the eyes on both interior and exterior. This black on black monster wears a black onyx paint to compliment its 1997 style foglights, tail lights and factory body kit. Its black OEM leather interior and woodgrain steering wheel compliments the most important part of its inside, the carputer. Jeriel Guerrero surely had luxury on his mind along with power and brute force while working on this project.
