These days you can turn on the TV and watch the presidential debate to see who is leading between the Republican and Democratic party. With all the media spotlight following Obama and Mccain and all these promises about pulling troops out of Iraq, we lost sight of what is actually more important, our troops. I just wanted to take this time to thank all of those who serve in United States military. Apart from being the best at what they do, these troops also have to deal with the seperation from families and friends. One soldier in particular happens to be one of my closest friends, Airman Randy Carrasco, currently serving in the United States Air Force. Randy Carrasco is derived of pure military blood. His father, Jerry Carrasco Sr, spent 20 years in the United States Air Force and is now retired. His sister Tammy had also served in the United States Air Force. Randy's older brother, Jerry Carrasco Jr, had served time as a United States Marine. This is one family that I am glad I got to know and I am surely proud of having Randy as my friend. Thank you Randy and to your family for everything you guys have done for this country.
